B.A Program
1.In order for undergraduate students to complete courses in 4 academic years, their semester load must range from 12 to 20 hours toward the degree. For students with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 17, a maximum of 24 credits can be attempted.
2.Students who are on academic probation with a GPA of less than 12 must elect a course load of no more than 14 credits.
3.Students who fail to achieve a GPA of 12 after spending 3 consecutive semesters (or 4 total semesters) on probation, may be academically dismissed from the University.
4.An unexcused absence from a final examination will result in a mark of zero entered for that course.
5.Class attendance is mandatory. Students who are deemed absent for more than 3 class sessions in a row will have a mark of zero entered for that course and will consequently be dropped from the course.
6.Students with a GPA of at least 17 who attend the 3 summer terms of the undergraduate degree program (6 credits each), will graduate a semester early.
7.Undergraduate students who rank first during the program are admitted into graduate courses without taking the entrance examination.

M.A. Program

2.A grade of pass indicates performance of no less than a 12 on each course.
3.Students who fail to achieve an average of 14 in 2 semesters, will be placed on probation and academically dismissed from the University.
4.An unexcused absence from a final examination will result in a mark of zero entered for that course.
5.Class attendance is mandatory. Students who are deemed absent for more than 3 class sessions in a row will have a mark of zero entered for that course and will consequently be dropped from the course.
6.Graduate students must complete their degree within 5 semesters of enrollment.

Ph.D. Program
1.A grade of pass indicates performance of no less than a 14 on each course.
2.Students who fail to achieve an average of 16 in 2 semesters, must take additional credits to reach the minimum GPA required for graduation or will otherwise be academically dismissed from the University.
3.Students should take their comprehensive exam by the conclusion of their 4th semester of study.
4.The minimum passing grade for the comprehensive exam (both oral and written) is 16.
5.Students must complete their degree within 9 semesters of enrollment.
