Pedram Jam is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He has earned a BA in Archaeology (1999), and a MA (2002) and a Ph.D. (2008) in Ancient Languages and Cultures from the University of Tehran. He has been a member of the History Department of the Faculty of Literature and Humanities of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad since 2014. The history and culture of the Sasanian period, Iranian calendars, and the private law of Zoroastrians of the pre-Islamic period are among his favorite subjects, and he has published several articles on these subjects in scientific journals. He is currently conducting research on Iranian calendars, the private law of ancient Zoroastrians, and Sasanian culture and civilization.
