Atiyeh Kamyabi Gol is presently an Associate professor of applied linguistics at the Department of Persian Language and Literature and an assistant professor by courtesy of the Linguistics Department at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. Her research takes an interdisciplinary approach to explore psycholinguistic variables in teaching Persian and English. Her scholarship on teaching and learning draws upon applied linguistics, teaching Persian as a second language, psycholinguistics, and language testing. She mainly lectures on language testing, materials development, syllabus design and evaluation, professional English, and research methodology at the postgraduate levels.
